We will then visit the Temple of Literature constructed in 1070 to worship Confucius, which served as the first Royal National University in Vietnam. The site also honors 82 Vietnamese doctorates who passed a number of rigid exams in the feudal ages. Their names, birthdays and birthplaces are engraved in 82 headstones perched on stone tortoises. It is widely believed that touching the heads of these tortoises will bring luck. Its peaceful green compound with its neatly maintained lawns, gardens and lotus ponds make it a tranquil hideaway from the city’s bustle and heat.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays, the alternative being the History Museum), which offers informative and well-documented displays of the country’s 54 ethnic groups, including elaborate and colorful hill tribe costumes. The display continues in the museum’s garden with fascinating examples of traditional houses of numerous minority groups, from the Kinhs to the ethnic groups of the Central Highlands.

Then back to the Old Quarter for a 1 hour cyclo tour. We then head to Ngoc Son Temple set on a tiny island in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake. Ngoc Son Temple dates back to the 13th century, and the lake itself is the picturesque heart of Hanoi, frequented by tourists and locals alike.

11h00:Have lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods such as goat meat, fish, chicken, fried rice…. Vegetarian foods are always available in the buffet lunch

13h00: Visit Tràng An whichwas recognized by UNESCO as AWorld Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An has a wonderful tunnel cave system so Kong’s Movie Group chose this place for the New Version of Kong in 2016 – “Skull Island”. With 2.5 hours for the boat trip, you will be persuaded by the beauty here.

15h30: Get back to Limousine Bus then leave for Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain & have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here

6.00-6:20: Pick up at hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, get on a big bus and depart for Sapa Town.

9.30: Follow the highway to Lao Cai city and have the first rest stop.

11.00: Second rest stop at Lao Cai city before heading to Sapa.

13.00: Arrive at Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic people. The guide will pick you up to have lunch with local Vietnamese dishes.

The trekking distance is about 3,5km and it lasts for 2 hours

14.30: A short walk to the gate of Cat Cat village, which is the home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photos with the bridge and waterfall; then you will walk up hill for the bus to pick you up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon

Fansipan- Long trek Sa Pa  Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van Village (B, L,D)

7:30: Have breakfast at the hotel and check-out the hotel (your luggage will be kept in the hotel’s storage).

8.30: After breakfast, our driver will take you to Cable Car Station and then you will spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery.

Reach the altitute of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan – the Roof of Indochina. (Spend about 1,5 hours for hiking and taking photos).

12.00: Come back to Cable Car Station and return to Sapa town.

12.30 – 13.30: Have lunch in restaurant

Affternoon :

14:15-14:30: Trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain.

The trekking distance is about 12 km and it lasts for 4 hours

17: 45. Check in the bungalow; get to know the family of Dzay People. Spend time enjoying the mountain life on Sunset. You may attend cooking local dishes with the family and enjoy dinner in peace.

11.00: Trek through the Giang Ta Chai Bridge to the main road, the bus picks you up to come back to Sapa Town.

13.30 – 14.45: Relax and enjoy yourself, and if you want, take a shower in the hotel’s public bathroom.

14.45 – 15.00: Meet all the group members at the hotel to get ready for Hanoi.

15.30: Get on the bus to go back to Hanoi with two rest stops.

14:30: The boat will take you on a scenic journey through the Gia Luan area, Thoi Quyt island, Ke Ga, and Finger – some of the most beautiful islands located in the southeast of Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay..

16:00: You will have the opportunity to kayak and swim in the picturesque and enchanting Tra Bau Fishing Village area. Here, you can paddle your kayak to catch Snail Da and Ha Da while surrounded by the breathtaking limestone mountains of Lan Ha Bay.

13:00-13:45  Pick up at hotels in Da Nang and depart the journey with first sightseeing Ngu Hanh Son mountain known as Marble mountain. Visiting the Non Nuoc Village at the foot of Marble Mountains. The village is famous for stone sculptures and handicrafts. Here you can admire many works of art made from stone and marble by the local artists. Up to mountain, you will keep your soul in the peaceful scenery at the temples here, and be jaw-dropping in front of the mysterious but equally impressive caves.

15:30 Continue heading to Coconut Forest in Cam Thanh, Hoi An. Visiting Coconut Forest first (about 5km from the southeast of the Hoi An Old Town) – the place is poetic with green pure water and eco-system of coconut trees in the forest. You will experience basket boat riding around the coconut forest, learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, local people’s life. While enjoying the basket boat ride, you will join some activities with boatman. Watching magical basket boat riding showed by boatman, experiencing an equally fun basket boat race and seeing how traditionally throwing fishing net, which will bring you a lot of wonderful experiences.       

  

17:00 Move to Hoi An ancient town, a well-known walking town which is one of the major trading centers in Southeast Asia during the 16th century due to the early western trader occupation period. Visiting Hoi An, you will have chance to admire high cultural values, traditional customs, lifestyle and ancient culinary of Hoi An people.

In the town, you will have a chance to have a flashback of a truly 16th century town of Viet Nam. We will walk around and visit the ancient houses, ancient assembly halls, bridges, temple. Specially, Hoi An town is very attractive with lanterns on streets in the evening, so you seem to put yourself into the ancient architecture and the shimmer of lanterns in the evening. Also you will have free to time to visit Hoi An night market.

20:00-20:30 saying goodbye to Hoi An Town and our transport will get back Danang city.

08:30 You will be picked up at your hotel, and then we start Danang city tour. 

Marble Mountains are like the Southern islet located inside Danang city. You can visit some religious places here: the first Linh Ung pagoda in Da Nang and also natural caves such as Huyen Khong cave, Tang Chon cave, admire the scenery of the mountain cluster and the sea from the River view Tower and the Ocean view Tower.07:30 Pick you up at Da Nang and depart to Hue city (about 102 km to the North of Da Nang).

On the way, the car will stop to visit some beautiful attraction such as: Hai Van pass – is an approximately 21 km long mountain pass on National Route 1A in Vietnam. It is the natural border of Thua Thien-Hue Province and Danang City, one of the most scenic hillside roads in Vietnam. 

And sightseeing Lang Co beach – With more than 10 km long white sand beach and blue sea water, Lang Co beach is an ideal place for relaxing, swimming and taking photos. 

10:30: You will visit the Khai Dinh tomb, the tomb had elements of eastern art mixed with western designs.

12:00: Enjoy a delicious lunch at a Local Specialty Restaurant serving Hue style dishes.

MORNING :  FLIGHT FROM DA NANG TO HO CHI MINH CITY

Afternoon : Visit cuchi tunnels . Cu Chi Tunnels is a legendary underground system of over 220 km of tunnels, a must-see for both Vietnamese and foreign travelers who are interested in the history of the Vietnam War. The tunnels are now a historical structure of Vietnam and considered a heroic district for the role they played in the resistance to US forces during the Vietnam War.

The tunnels are located approximately 60km from Ho Chi Minh city. The tour departs at 13:00 pm from Vietnam Adventure Tours office or from your hotel. Enjoy the scenery along the way, as we pass the lush, endless rice fields and the ducks are water buffaloes swimming in the rivers. You might find it hard to imagine that once the area was almost completely destroyed by bombs and mines from the war, when Cu Chi was a “free target zone “.

Once we arrive, you will get a chance to walk through some of the tunnels, discover the hidden corners and imagine what life was like here for the resistance soldiers. If you like, try to cook with the smokeless stoves used by Vietnamese soldiers to cook during the war. You can even try foods which the soldiers lived on. If you’re feeling brave, or curious, you can even try your hand at shooting at AK-47, one of the guns used during the war.

Head back to the city in the late afternoon. We will drop you off at our office/your hotel.

Overnight in Ho chi Minh city

Morning 

8:00 Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then, you embark a boat on Mekong river and go down stream, along Dragon Island to see daily activities on river as catching, raising fish on farm and conquer the 3 km large river by crossing. 7.45: Our tour guide will welcome you at our office at 123 Ly Tu Trong, District 1 or at your hotel before heading to My Tho city by van. Enjoy the scenery and green rice paddies during the one and a half hour bus ride. 

Along the way, we will visit Vinh Trang pagoda, the biggest pagoda in the Mekong delta.

Continue to My Tho, where we take a boat trip along the Mekong River, where you can see fish cages and floating houses on the river. The boat takes you to a small canal, escaping the hustle and bustle of the town. We disembark at a coconut island in Ben Tre and enjoy a walk around the village.

8:00AM. We depart from Vietnam Adventure Tours office or pick you up at your hotel and head to Cu Chi Tunnels for 60km from Ho Chi Minh City. Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for the role it played in the Vietnam War

The famous Cu Chi tunnels are a huge underground network. The tunnels were once used as a military base for the Vietnamese Soldiers resistance to the US forces during the Vietnam War and often used as hiding spots or spy activities.

Along the way to Cu Chi from Ho Chi Minh city, we will pass by the scenic local countryside, where you might even spot ducks and buffalo cooling off in the river. You will find it hard to imagine the destruction and damage that once dominated the area, caused by bombing and mines when Cu Chi was “a free target zone.”Afternoon: We depart from Cu Chi to Mekong Delta for two hours by car. On the way to Vinh Long, we stop by at a restaurant to have a lunch with Vietnamese cuisine.

Arrive Vinh Long, take a rest then biking along the countryside road to get to know the locals going about their day.

DAY 01: HCM – MY THO – BEN TRE – CAN THO (Meal: L)

Around 7:30-7:45am. Get picked up from your hotel in center of Ho Chi Minh City and head to the Mekong Delta. During the 1.5 car ride, we will pass through by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho. The first stop is Vinh Trang pagoda – one of the most well-known temples in the Mekong Delta region. You will be guided to explore the most beautiful, ancient and significant temple in the Mekong Delta.

Your trip continues from here to My Tho, travel on a motorized boat on the Tien River to the Qui, the Dragon, Phoenix and Unicorn Islet. Walk into the village, where you can visit a local fruit garden and enjoy the tropical fruit while listening to Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by islanders. Next, enjoy a rowing boat trip on the small canal, fully covered by water coconut palms on both sides.

The boat cruises to Ben Tre province known as “The Land of Coconut. Here you’ll visit the coconut candy-making shop, see how the local products are made from coconut.

After that, you will have time to relax on a hammock or bike around the village.

10:30 AM: Pick up at your hotel in Ha Noi Old Quarter and depart for Ha Giang.

17:00 Arrive in Ha Giang, the bus drop off you at Ha Giang Motor Tours homestay, check in and have dinner at the homestay. After dinner, you have free time to discover Ha Giang City or go to the top of Cam Mountain to drink coffee and enjoy the view of Ha Giang City by yourself.

Go back to the homestay to relax.

Day 2: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh (Meal: B,L,D)

Day 3: Yen Minh – Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass (Meal: B, L, D)

Check-out the homestay, have breakfast, and go sightseeing in Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark.

On the way, you will stop at:

+ Tham Ma Pass is an iconic s-shaped mountain pass in the mountain region of Ha Giang.

+ Visit to the Vuong’s royal palace (king of the Mong people), lying inside a valley of Sa Phin. This was the wealthiest and most powerful family of Dong Van in the early 20th century. King Vuong gained power and wealth by planting, cooking, and selling poppy at that time.

+ After enjoying your lunch at a local restaurant, we keep heading to the top roof of Viet Nam, and enjoy the panoramic view of Lo Lo village on the top of Lung Cu Flag Tower.

+ Continue going to Meo Vac, and on the way, we will pass Thien Huong village, where Tay people are known for cooking corn wine (happy water).

+ Travel through Ma Pi Leng Pass, the most majestic landscape of Ha Giang, which is famous for one of the great four peaks in Viet Nam.

Arrive at Pa Vi village with beatiful beautiful clay house of the Mong people in Meo Vac Clay House. Check in and have dinner.

Playing games, listening to local music, playing cards, and drinking corn wine “happy water”, and cheers together by Vietnamese drinking way “ Mot Hai Ba Dzô, Hai Ba Dzô, Hai Ba Uong”.

Night 3: Overnight in Meo Vac.

Day 4: Ma Pi Leng Pass – Mau Due – Yen Minh – Ha Giang (Meal: B, L,D)

+ Boat tour on the Nho Que River, enjoy the breathtaking Tu San Canyon, the deepest canyon in Vietnam and in Indochina as well. Then, back to Yen Minh for lunch.

+ On the way, passing M-shape Pass in Mau Due commune.

Arrive at Ha Giang homestay around 5 – 5:30PM. Say goodbye to the driver and guide and then get basic dinner (take a shower, go for a stroll around Ha Giang City by yourself and come back, wait for the bus pick up at homestay for back Ha Noi).

21:00 Get on the bus and back to Hanoi.

Night 4: Overnight on the sleeping bus (Meal: No)

Arrive in Hanoi at 3 AM.
